Japanese People Aren't As Efficient As I Thought They'd Be

Wow. I'm so sorry about this. I thought, in this tech savvy society, that internet would be everywhere (trees would give off wireless signals - I imagined). But no. No internet. Anywhere.

So, I'm totally at the whim of my supervisor (who speaks no English), and he does things a certain way - and he's done things that way since the Edo period. The way he does things, it takes a month to get internet, because he calls in this guy (Yamada-san) who's even less efficient than he is. This guy has come to my apartment twice now - each time promising internet - and each time he brings more paperwork - that he fills out for me, because I can't write in Japanese.

According to him, I'll have it next week. And when (if) that happens, I'll do a proper update of the site - with, like, what I've been doing for the past month (I have it all typed out, I swear).

So, I'm at friend's, using his internet. But I'm the lucky one, cause it took him two months for Yamada to set up his internet.
